I didn’t realize until the other day that it had been so long since I had last posted.  Looking at the date of my last post, it was right before the kids were out of school and right before I went back to school.  So I apologize for the long wait on the postings, but I’m back now and this will stay as updated as possible.

Since June we have been busy getting ready for the back to school season with the teachers and we also went to CHA.  It wasn’t the best CHA we’ve been too.  Alot of companies didn’t go and many of the bigger companies displayed in booths alot smaller than they usually have.  So it looks like there’s a bit of a down turn in the scrpabooking industry, in the USA anyways.  We were still able to gather some orders and bring in lots of great new products.  Keep watching the blog for updates.  I’ll also have a newsletter coming out soon too.

There is a good thing about the show being smaller….all the companies are ready to ship their products sooner.  We’ve already started receiving some of our orders…..

We finally have our Project 12 layouts done and are on schedule for July.  Sorry these are coming a little late for those that have been following us this year…..May came and went without really noticing for me…..and if you’re not sure what we’re doing here with Project 12, there is a link to the Scrapbook & Cards Today’s blog where they are featuring many works from people all over the world each month using the same sketch as us.

Well, we made it through Star Wars weekend at Disney and I have to say…..it was really good.  So if anyone has a child that loves Star Wars, it’s definitely a great trip to take.  Even though it is busy, really busy, the kids all have a great time…even the adults dressed up in their costumes look like they’re having fun, I would highly recommend it.

SCRAP PINK CROP UPDATE!!!

It is official….as of right now, we are sold out of all our seats for the crop.  BUT—–there is still hope for those on our waiting list.  Over the next couple of weeks, I will be looking at the table set up and see if I can fit in more tables and make it so that everyone can come…..we will contact everyone on the list as soon as we know….chances are good that we can fit everyone, but there are a few things I need to work out before I can confirm it. 

For those that have a seat held for them but have not paid, if possible, please make a trip to the store or call us to pay if you know for sure that you can come….this may also help alleviate our waiting list.

Thank you so much for all of your continued support ladies….it is greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing everyone out on September 25th–or hopefully sooner!!

Donna has created two new classes for June.  Here is a sneak peak at what she’ll be doing…..be sure to call early for your spot….her classes can sell out quickly.  She’s created a beautiful heritage layout using her famous touch of flowers, glitter, and patterned paper techniques.

In this card class, you’ll make 6 different cards and they are not labelled so they can be used for any occasion you choose afterwards…..

      Tuesday June 8, 2010…6-8p.m…$18

All class fees include supplies to complete the projects.  Please bring your basic tool kit, adhesives, and inks if you have them.  When you sign up for the class we can clarify the details with you if needed.

This week we received some new papers and some more great tools……we’ve begun to stock the latest EK Success border punches which have turned out to be much better than expected so we’ll keep getting more in.  Our wall is also filling up with Spellbinders dies, so be sure to come by and check them out.

Our order of the newest Cuttlebug products should be arriving within the next two weeks so watch for a post to come about that.

We also just got in great new papers from a brand new company Echo Park…..very bright and summer layouts are going to pop with these patterns……here is a sample of the advertisement…..

This week has been really busy with new products arriving on our shelves.  It’s great to see that all of the ones I see in the catalogues are looking just as good in person.

 Doodlebug finally arrived!!  Stickers and paper to match.

Websters pages is here…..making Donna a very happy lady.

 PAGE OF THE MONTH UPDATE>>>>For those of you that are part of this club our order for the kits just arrived on Monday and there is a paper missing for the May kit.  We are working on getting it here asap or find a substitution for it….we’re working with Basic Grey to rectify it.  The kits will hopefully be ready for pick up next week.  We will be in contact with everyone once the kits are available.

Keep watching for more updates on new products.  I just received a bunch of emails from companies with mid spring releases…..Bo Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, Echo Park (Brand new company), and Pinecone Press to name just a few.  Watch for details on those orders that should be arriving in June.  The new release of Cuttlebug folders will also be arriving this month…I’ve been told Mid-May for those.
