I really did hit the jack pot with the paper this round of being a design team member - the perfect paper three months running. This line from Authentique features blues and yellows, and was perfect for pages of my son: grad pics from grade eight and grade twelve.
The page “A Mother’s Guilt” is poking fun at myself - the pics are only the proofs from my son’s high school graduation, and the packages are so expensive, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing them, but you know how it goes, because the pics are grad pics, I have a tremendous amount of mom guilt!
I made most of the embellies for these boy pages; cardboard star and heart with a healthy dab of Tim Holtz crackle paint, and hemp cord with buttons.
The cards feature two techniques - stamping and colouring on dark card stock, and a brayer technique for the background.
thanks!
Katherine

This paper, just like last month was a dream to work with - a nice weight, and a beautiful textured finish to some of the pages. The patterns are so pretty, too!
Since I wanted a ‘girly girls’ pages for my nieces, I pulled out all the stops- I hope people stop to notice all the details going on in these pages.
The pinwheels are easy to make if you have a paper scoring tool, and the flowers “roll” quite nicely with this strong paper.
Thanks,
Katherine

For these pages from the Authentique - Blissful line, I took a walk down memory lane, perfect for this vintage inspired line, don’t you think?
The patterned papers feature a great colour combination - yellow, gray and black, very trendy right now in the magazines. The punch out embellies match perfectly, and are a great size for either cards or scrapbook pages.

My friends and family enjoy when I give them homemade gifts - especially gifts that preserve memories.
My family has a new little niece this Chistmas, and we couldn’t be more happy to spend our first Christmas with little Karrissa. I don’t often get to scrapbook little girls, and so added flowers, bling, and pearls. The diecuts and trim are all using my Spellbinders dies.
All of these projects - the scapbook page, the altered canvas and the mini album feature We R Memory Keepers Peppermint Twist paper collection. The card stock is all Bazzill, and the ink is all Ranger. The stamps are from Victorine Originals and BoBunny.
The chipboard album has envelopes for tucking little treasures inside! how great is that?

Merry Christmas,
Katherine

I love this paper from BoBunny - it features that vintage-y, distressed feel that I love so much, and the heaviness of the paper makes it so nice to craft with.
These are the two scrapbook pages that I made with my November designer kit from the Learning Factory. I used my EK Success Lattice punch for the trim, and threaded different ribbons through the centre. Lately, I have been experimenting with different ribbon techniques, and love the look of folded ribbon.
The stamps are from Stampin’ Up and TPC Studio. The ink is all Ranger, and the stickles are too. I applied them in a flourish pattern. The bling flourish was provided with the kit. The chipboard is from my stash, but, sorry I don’t know the manufacturer. I think (?) it is L’il Davis, but I can’t be sure.
These two pages use three photographs each! That’s way more than I usually scrap with, but I am really happy with the matching lay outs. thanks to Joanne at the Learning Factory! to see more of my work, please go to www.froufrouscrap.blogspot.com

Nope…sorry, we have to get through halloween first…which is always fun too but I can’t get the green light to start shopping for Christmas until I see 50% off signage on all the candy
I was in the Learning Factory today and picked up some of the new BoBunny Blitzen papers and embellies and thought I would create a mini with it. I also picked up an American Crafts modern album (6×6) what a fab little album that it! Great price point and it comes with pape protectors! I didn’t use them as I wanted stuff to stick out so I just put them aside for another projcet.
In four hours I made this…..
